Push to Fire is an alternative music webzine with contributors based in the UK, Europe and the US. In November 2007 Rachel Wade and Suzy Harrison came up with the idea of starting their own online magazine and pushtofire.com went live in January 2008. Since its creation Push to Fire has brought its readers hundreds of live music reviews, photos and record reviews, as well as over 60 interviews with bands and artists. As well as music the webzine has given its readers insight into other aspects of alternative culture, publishing interviews with models, jewellery companies, art organisations (e.g. Art is the Cure) and underground bloggers (such as Bake and Destroy). Push to Fire is very DIY in its approach and believes in the importance of supporting and promoting local music scenes; with this in mind the webzine covers both globally known bands and local (often unsigned) bands. If you want your band's music reviewing please get in touch via the contact page.
